INDIANAPOLIS, IN, October 19 – The American Association of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE) announces the release of the Benchmarking Results eBook for data year 2017.

The annual Benchmarking Survey collects orthopaedic practice data such as revenue and expenses, productivity and compensation, overhead expenses, ancillary services, recruitment strategies, and more. This year’s survey results include four years of trend data from more than 300 orthopaedic practices, and represents a full range of practice sizes, specialties, population sizes, and regions.

The Benchmarking Results eBook details 45 reports broken down by practice size in an easy-to-use PDF format.

The Benchmarking Survey Results are also available in an online interactive Data Portal that allows users to apply various filters to drill down the data to what is most relevant for their practice. Custom reports can be created based on factors such as practice size, region, state, population size, and specialty.

“The Results eBook provides a way to easily access the reports included in the AAOE Benchmarking Results when a strategic question arises within your practice,” says AAOE Director of Data Solutions Vicki Sprague, PhD. “In the eBook, the Benchmarking Results are summarized by practice size as defined by the number of physicians. This practice size filter is just one of many ways that members can create customized reports in the online interactive Data Portal. Used together or separately, the Results eBook and the online subscription provide orthopaedic practice administrators with access to the data they need, in the format that is most useful to them.”

The eBook and Data Portal subscription are sold separately or as a package, allowing practices to purchase the format that works best for them.
