eulaEula Ramroop, MsHA is a visionary leader who has over 2 decades of healthcare administration experience. She was recruited to CHI Franciscan as the Regional Associate Vice President of the Orthopedics, Spine and Podiatry Service Line in Tacoma, Washington. She previously served as Director of UCSF Medical Center Clinical Services Outreach Development since April 2013. Prior to this role, she served as the UCSF Medical Center Service Line Director for Neurospine, Orthospine, Orthopedics and General Surgery in which she was renowned for strong physician collaboration and ability to successfully lead performance improvements with a visionary approach.

Prior to joining the UCSF Medical Center, Eula was an internal consultant for business development and operations at Kaiser Permanente Southern California where she led initiatives that resulted in value based care with high quality and cost savings initiatives and physician alignment. Her initial career began at UCLA, where she developed the UCLA Neurospine, Orthospine and Pain Management Center as the Director.

Eula earned her bachelor’s degree from UCLA, and a master’s degree in health administration from Cal State Northridge with honors commendations.

In 2013 she was awarded the Martin Luther King Jr. Award for Diversity from the University of California, San Francisco for her work promoting diversity during her time as director of clinical services outreach development at the UCSF Medical Center. She also served as chair of the staff subcommittee on the school’s Committee on Diversity. Her efforts resulted in increased diversity efforts through pipeline planning, mentorship and internships.

“This nomination to me is my duty to pay it forward, as generations before me have done the heavy lifting,” Ramroop told UCSF. “Dr. King and others opened doors for us; heavy doors that required them to endure physical, mental and emotional injustice. Today I am grateful for the opportunity to use my free time to return the favor in my small way.”
